Corinne&Friends

I'm so happy! I can't wait to go to the hairdresser in a week. This might sound ridiculous to some but I haven't had a "proper" hair stylist cut my hair EVER! I've always gone for the cheaper options, just the edges, no "new" hairstyle no nice updo when the cutting was over. I booked Lina (who's also a red head)

So now I've booked an appointment with Corinne&Friends in Stockholm for Friday next week, and I am browsing the web like crazy for hairstyles I like.
So far it is mostly Sienna Miller and Rachel McAdams that have given me inspiration. Anyone out there has any more suggestions?

(I like the honey toned colour)

pheww

It is SOO warm in the office today. Our aircon is out and I feel like I'm breathing in air that someone else has already had in and out of their lungs a 100 times...
I need oxygen!

And just for cheesy sake of it:

Chinese for lunch

YUM! We ordered Chinese takeaway for lunch and it was so yummy. haven't had Chinese in probably a year at least, since Andreas doesn't eat meat we often end up with either Indian, Fish and Chips, or pizza when we order food.
I had a chicken sweet and sour with plain rice.

For some reason it made me want to go travelling again soon.
So now I've listed a couple of palces we have open invitations to, that I'd love to go as soon as possible:

1. Hawaii - IDA!!! (have to!)
2. India - Prakash (food)
3. South Africa - Martin (elephants and wine)
4. Road Trip in the US - Heather, Alise, Tatiana, Danielle, Brienna...we will pester you all
5. China - Jonna (The Great Wall and chopsticks)

So much fun to do, so many great friends, so little money, so little time...

tennis time

I need to move more and stop eating sugar! That will be my goal for the next 2 weeks, since we are going on holiday to Sweden soon and I have anything but a bikini body, not that I've ever had one, but one can at least try... :)

So now we are off to play a bit of tennis. Inspired by the events in BĂ„stad.
We'll see how that goes!

Tunisia how I long for you

I'm sitting with my laptop and Misse in my knee and half researching for my project half dreaming about Tunisia and the day it will all be over.

Thursday, 8 July 2010

Now I've emptied the dishwasher, refilled the dishwasher, folded the laundry, hung out the wet laundry, had supper and e-mailed and checked facebook... Why is there no world cup game on tonight? Andreas is off to floor ball. I think I'll go for a walk.

Pizza Express

Yesterday we made use of a voucher that gave us 1 main course for 45p at Pizza Express. Was nice to eat out and not have to cook or clean up afterwards.

Then we went home and watched the semifinal Holland-Uruguay. I'm super excited about the final on Sunday. Can't wait!

You can get your free voucher here.

New Church Leader

"I would argue that the present generation would like this movement to be known: not only by what we eat, but by whom we feed. We would be proud if this movement was known: not only by how we dress, but by whom we clothe. Perhaps this generation would be more committed if we were known: not only for being different, but for making a difference in the world around us. Known: not only for proclaiming the Gospel, but delivering good news to the oppressed."

I couldn't agree more with the comments by Sam Neves on Ted Wilson's first sermon. It is hard to read some of the pessimistic comments on our church but I hope that God will make his love and grace perpetuate our hearts and lead us to greater acceptance and understanding of our differences.

I can't believe it's already July

This week has passed so fast. Tuesday we went to IEKA and got a TV bench and 19 frames! I am making a picture wall in our bedroom with many photos form our wedding.
Wednesday gym and putting together the furniture we bought at IKEA and yesterday I got a friend over and we watched The Book of Eli which was ok but not that excellent. Dragged out too much in the beginning and never really turned into a great story. The next movie I want to watch is The Lovely Bones. I've been waiting for that one for 6 months now, since the first time I saw the trailer.
