realising just how lucky you are
I have some meditative moments in the bus every morning where dreams for the future and smiling over the blessings of today almost overwhelms me with the realisation of just how lucky I am.
I'm not trying to tempt fate mostly because I don't believe in fate. I believe in making the most of what you have. As most people I am not where I imagined I would be 5 years ago, I had plans to go to Australia, to learn to scuba dive. In fact, my biggest dream as a teenager was to be the voice for a Disney character. But despite non of this coming true I am happier than I ever imagined I could be. And it is all because of my friends and family. I cherish all of you and those of you who are not here - I miss you so much.

This weekend was lovely.
Saturday I was worship leading in church and then we were invited to Nat and Travis for lunch. We played Rook and watched the first Bourne movie. We are planning to go through all fo them in the next couple of weeks. They are so good.

Yesterday we were quite productive. We played tennis, digged up all the potatoes and onions from our vegetableg arden, made homemade craemy tomato soup with garlic bread (ingredients from our garden), put up the frames with the pictures from our wedding, played tennis with Travis and Nat, washed the car, picked up Prakash and Nathan from the airport.
Tonight I need to prepare for tomorrows first private tuition with my Swedish students. We will be meetin once a week for a couple of moths now. Will be very interesting and hopefully a lot of fun.
It is so nice to not have to study when I get home. To just walk around in the apartment and pick up stuff, cook a nice meal, watched some sitcoms and hang out with my husband. All this extra time does however mean that I have noticed a lot of things I want to add and change in the apartment so now I really want to go shopping for plants and tons of candles to make it cosier now that it is getting darker.

Hunter Wellingtons in Navy. It has been quite groggy and rainy the last week, and these would be perfect when walking to the bus in the mornings.
Lusekofte - traditional Norwegian knitted sweater. Perfect for these cold autumn days and brings back memories of my grandparents and living in Northern Norway.

wedding photos
Tonight I need to do two things:
1. Book the driving theory test - that license will be mine before Christmas!
2. Order some selected photos online so we can get some pictures in the frames we bought last time we were at IKEA. Need to put something on our bare walls.
Can't wait for the pictures to come up. It will make a huge difference in our bedroom which is feeling quite cold with just blue and white everywhere.

election in Sweden
We are watching it and we are a bit nervous.
- Don't want SD in! Sure immigration needs to be discussed but they are going about it in an unacceptable way.
- Want the blue wing to win. They have done well during the last period in my opinion.

H&M online shopping
Finally it is here! A few weeks ago Zara opened their online shopping site and I got all ecstatic and now HM has opened theirs. My two favourite shops - this is dangerous. I will probably sit and browse these every day at work, and perhaps, accidentally of course some of it might be waiting outside our door... :)
Anyone knows of any discount codes?
Mulberry Spring 2011
I love that all the models had red hair - I think that in it self appealed to me and makes me want to raid the high-street stores for mulberry copies. It reminds me of Christina Hendricks in Mad Men. Now i only wish I had her curves (aka curves in the right places)

But last night she was acting crazy. Sorry to Kezia and Maarten who has been baby sitting her while we were in Tunisia, that you haven't been able to sleep because she's been running around.

we are back
We got back from our amazing holiday in Tunisia today. 10 days of resting, eating, tanning, and recovering from some rather hectic summer months. It was absolutely lovely to spend some time together - just enjoying each others company.
